Chris Marais is a Director of RLB in Queensland, a Director of the Global Board, a Director of our Oceania Board, and the Director responsible for our Townsville and Cairns offices in North Queensland. He is also Chairman of the Global Marketing Committee.
Since 1994, Chris has provided professional quantity surveying services for major projects in Queensland, specialising in cost planning, cost management, feasibility analysis, contract advice, tender analysis and construction phase administration.
With over 25 years’ experience, his portfolio includes education, defence, health, tourism and hospitality, health, retail, residential, community and civic projects.
Chris is an associate of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, and is registered with the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors College of Expert Witnesses. He is a committee member of the Property Council of Australia.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
