The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Quantity Surveyor to enhance our Auckland team. In your role you will be instrumental in driving our project delivery, fostering client relationships, and working with our dedicated team to achieve our strategic objectives.

What will you do:

  • Project Leadership: Spearhead major projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Strategic Cost Management: Provide expert advice on all aspects of quantity surveying, including cost planning, value engineering, and risk management, to maximise project value and efficiency.
  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and ensuring their utmost satisfaction with our services.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation in our practices and processes, contributing to the company’s growth and reputation in the industry.

Who you are:

  • A seasoned professional with a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related discipline, coupled with significant experience in a senior quantity surveying role.
  • A natural leader with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects that meet and exceed expectations.
  • Exceptionally skilled in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Highly organised and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Committed to professional development, both your own and your colleagues, with a desire to stay at the cutting edge of industry practices.
