You have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or Project & Facilities Management
  • Reasonable proficiency in English
  • Experience in Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Variation Order (VO) work for all subcontract packages
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Cost & Measurement software (where necessary, training will be provided for Cost-X software)
  • Analytical, resourceful, independent, responsible and able to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
  • Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Good team player yet able to work independently with minimum supervision and provide guidance to junior staff
  • A minimum of 6 years hands-on experience (preferably with consultancy practice)
  • PSPC-Recognised Degree for Quantity Surveying (QS) Discipline
  • Applicant with Professional Qualification with SISV, AIQS, RICS will be an advantage

Your duties:

  • To provide support for measurement and pricing on contract’s VO claim
  • To process monthly progress claim and final claim
  • To attend all relevant contracts administration & documentation for the project
  • To take off measurement – remeasurement for sub-contract’s payment and final account purposes
  • To work out cost estimation or budgetary cost
  • To liaise with Consultants / Main Contractors on VO and progress claims
  • To liaise with Suppliers for quotations
  • To maintain relevant documentation in orderly and proper manner
