RLB in South Africa is pleased to announce the promotion of Takalani Maphari and Ivan Schoeman to Associates, effective from 1 March 2024.

Both Takalani and Ivan are Professional Quantity Surveyors in our Engineering Cost Management (ECM) Division, and these promotions underscore our commitment to nurturing talent from within. We warmly welcome our colleagues to their new roles and eagerly anticipate their continued success at RLB.

Takalani Maphari holds a BSc (QS) Honours degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Takalani joined RLB in 2022 and describes himself as a self-driven, motivated and resourceful professional that values quality, integrity, diligence and accuracy. He brings with him 16 years of experience with the focus on large infrastructure and mining projects.

Ivan Schoeman holds a BSc (QS) Honours degree from the University of Pretoria and joined RLB in 2020. With a decade of experience, Ivan brings considerable knowledge and expertise to the team across a wide variety of sectors with a particular focus on large-scale mining projects both in South Africa and on the continent.

It provides estimating, procurement, quantity surveying, cost management, and contract administration services to the mining and minerals, infrastructure, engineering, oil & gas, and power & energy sectors of the industry.
