Fred Selolwane has more than 20 years’ experience as a professional quantity surveyor and holds a 1st Class Honours degree from Birmingham City University, England. He is registered with the South African Council of Quantity Surveying Profession, is a member of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors, as well as a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and Institute of Botswana Quantity Surveyors.

His areas of expertise include commercial, innovation hubs, mixed-use developments and he specialises in large value projects. Fred is a recipient of the Building Journal Award from a leading UK business and construction magazine – Building. He has also won a top British award, The Wakemans Law Prize, for his excellence in Construction Law. In 2002, the University of Central England bestowed on him a Certificate of Distinction, and in 2014 Fred was voted the Birmingham City University Alumni of the Year – all in recognition of his contribution to the construction industry.

Fred heads up the operations in Botswana and is serving as the Chairman of the Institute of Botswana Quantity Surveyors for the fifth consecutive year.
