As the venue for the 51st International Eucharistic Congress (IEC 2016), the pavilion has a minimalist design that is cool yet comfortable.
The building includes a 250-seat theatre, six function rooms, 200 comfort rooms and 250 parking lots. The façade features will promote Filipino and Cebuano culture.
The IEC is a gathering of people from across the world aimed at ‘promoting an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Catholic Church’. The P500-million facility will have a seating capacity of 15,500. Rider Levett Bucknall Philippines Inc. is providing limited quantity surveying services.
