Our professionals touch the built environment every single day. Every one of them has ideas on how to make it better, how to make it environmentally friendly, sustainable, or more efficient. But it is important to remember that, based on their experiences, everything they touch can be made better. You don’t always have to have the biggest, greatest plan; sometimes a small step can make a big difference. It’s something I like to be reminded of everyday; everything you do helps to shape the future of the built environment.

Registered with the state bars in Arizona, Washington, and Colorado, John maintains affiliations with many professional organizations, among them the Alliance for Construction Excellence, the American Arbitration Association, the American Bar Association, the Association for Conflict Resolution, and is a member of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in ocean engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology; a Master’s degree in business administration from Pace University; and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington.
