LAKE WASHINGTON SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Lake Washington School District is in the process of developing medium and long-range plans to upgrade and renovate seven aging school facilities, with an expected construction cost of over $300 million.
Since 2007, RLB has worked with the district to develop Life Cycle Cost Models for the district’s bond planning. When determining design decisions for future schools, the application of RLB’s Life Cycle Cost Models can potentially identify district savings, worth hundreds of millions of dollars in operational, maintenance and replacement costs.
RLB provided pre-bond planning, conceptual cost estimating, public engagement, scheduling, and sustainability planning.
