The City of Brampton, part of the Region of Peel, has experienced consistent increases in development which inevitably draws heavier on the infrastructure.
The Region of Peel is planning for future-readiness with major watermain expansions for the East and West water supply for the city.
This project is a highly complex civil undertaking with 10 foot diameter underground boring for the water supply piping. The goal is to deliver the project in a timely and cost-effective manner while minimizing any disruption to local environments.
RLB was retained to participate from a cost perspective on formal Value Engineering workshops for both the East and West portions of the project. RLB attended and advised as part of a consortia of consultants assembled by the Region.
