THE CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF AMERICA - PRYZBYLA CENTER
Founded in 1887 by the Catholic bishops of the United States, Catholic University of America is a national research university located in the heart of the nation’s capital.
Perkins Eastman Architects prepared a repositioning report for the Catholic University’s Pryzbyla Center. The student commons, originally constructed in 2003, is currently the main dining facility for the campus as well as multiple student activities and conferences. With the construction of a Dining Hall, (also estimated by RLB) near the Pryzbyla Center, the University wished to re-envision the student and conference facilities for long-term use and greater student accommodations.
RLB provided Perkins Eastman DC, PLLC with a cost estimate based on their visioning report for the Pryzbyla Center as a student center, dining facility, and event and conference center.
