Malcolm Timms is Managing Director of RLB in Christchurch, New Zealand. Malcolm is responsible for the overall direction of the Christchurch office, including business development, client relations, and project leadership for both public and private sector clients.
Malcolm established the RLB office in Christchurch in 1986, and has extensive knowledge across all facets of quantity surveying.
With 31 years’ experience in cost consultancy, Malcolm’s areas of expertise are feasibility analysis, conceptual estimating, procurement strategies, contract formulation and lender services, particularly in commercial construction, offices, retail, universities, education and hotels.
Malcolm is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, an associate member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a Green Star Accredited Professional.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom.
