Mark Chappé

Mark Chappé is a Director of RLB in Canberra and Chairman of the Oceania Training and Development Committee.

Mark has worked in the property and construction industry since 1978, and was partner of a quantity surveying practice in South Africa.

Since joining RLB in Australia in 1998, Mark has been involved in various construction sectors including health, commercial office, education, entertainment, residential and civil engineering projects.

Mark is an international expert on games overlay and venues, having worked on the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000, and the Rio 2016 and Istanbul 2020 Games bids.

In 2013, Mark was the recipient of the Allan Wylucki ACT Property Council of Australia Property Professional of the Year Award.

He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a member of the Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from the University of KwaZulu­-Natal in Durban.
