Mark Hocking

Mark Hocking is a Director of RLB in New South Wales. He is responsible for the overall direction and management of the Newcastle and Northern NSW offices, including business development, client relations, and project leadership for public and private sector clients.

Since 2002, Mark has provided expert advice on construction projects, focusing on cost management and lender services, conceptual cost estimating and master planning, detailed estimates, bills of quantities and expert reporting.

With over 20 years’ experience, Mark’s expertise covers education, healthcare, retail, tourism, government and commercial projects.

Mark is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveying, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Australian Institute of Building.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) from the University of Newcastle, where he is a casual lecturer, and sits on the University Advisory Panel as a Conjoint Fellow.
