Mark Sims

Mark Sims is a Director of RLB in New South Wales and a Director of our Oceania Board. He specialises in masterplan and concept design management. Mark’s detailed approach ensures initial budgets are deliverable.

With over 20 years’ experience, Mark is recognised globally as an expert in the cost management of major sporting events. He has worked within two Olympic organising committees as a cost manager, and has provided budget advice to numerous Commonwealth and Olympic host and bidding nations.

Mark also has extensive knowledge of the retail sector, enabling him to provide expert cost advice to owners, developers and retailers.

He is a member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Building in Construction Economics from the University of Technology, Sydney.
