Providing the first enhanced community health centre in the ACT

BELCONNEN HEALTH CARE CENTRE

This highly technical project provides community health services, and is intended to complement existing hospitals, generalist community health centres and community-based services.

The aim is to help the community to better manage acute and chronic conditions, thereby reducing the reliance on hospitals.

Services include audiometry, mental health services, cancer counselling, dental, imaging, nursing, nutrition, paediatric and child health, pathology, physiotherapy, renal dialysis, social work and a walk in centre.

RLB provided full quantity surveying services to the MSJ/MR Architects and the ACT Health Directorate.
