CSIRO ACT SITE CONSOLIDATION PROJECT
This project consolidates the functions of CSIRO in ACT onto the Black Mountain Campus. The centrepiece project is the Synergy building, which provides office workspace and modern laboratory facilities accommodating 500 scientists conducting cutting-edge research.
The Magistrates and Supreme Courts, which were previously physically separated by an open court, will now be connected by a common public entry and registry area creating facilities for both the legal community and the general public.
The $185m two-phase project comprises the construction of new building and refurbishment works of GFA totalling 24,000 square metres.
Further projects have included refurbishment of existing buildings to provide office accommodation and new landscaping which will integrate with the overall site masterplan.
