Relocating part of the Australian Defence Force

HARDENED & NETWORKED ARMY EDINBURGH DEFENCE PRECINCT

This large-scale defence project involved relocating the 7th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR) from Darwin to the Edinburgh Defence Precinct in South Australia.

This included the delivery of 56 individual buildings providing working accommodation, administration support, training facilities, messing, base infrastructure, maintenance and storage facilities. All with a focus on sustainable design.

Base operations were maintained during construction works.

RLB provided cost planning and contract administration to the design services consultant.
