REMARKABLES PRIMARY SCHOOL
The aim of the building design was to create a welcoming, caring and inclusive environment.
Based around pods, groups of four classrooms are clustered around a central space, all networked and set up for technology.
This 3,030 square metres of gross floor area is set between the stunning Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables.
A fast-track program was carried out to enable the school to open in 2010. The close proximity to the flight path in and out of Queenstown Airport required significant acoustic work.
RLB in Otago provided full quantity surveying services from early concept design to completion of the fit-out works on site.
