ROTORUA HOSPITAL INPATIENT BUILDING
With a brief to provide the community with a modern facility designed to meet their needs for the next 20 years, the result is outstanding.
The theme of ‘contemporary tradition’ complies with Rotorua’s Urban Design Principles, allowing patients to recuperate within the natural elements of sky, light, air and trees in a secure, leisurely setting.
The three-storey refurbishment includes an existing Clinical Services Building and a New Inpatient Building with Emergency, Ambulatory Care Centre, Medical and Surgical Wards, Coronary and Intensive Care Units, Theatres and Day Stay, CSSD, Outpatients and a new main entrance.
RLB in Auckland provided cost management and quantity surveying services.
