SHOTOVER PRIMARY SCHOOL
This new NZ$18 million school features multi-purpose spaces that allow individual and collaborative teaching and learning.
With room for up to 460 students from years one to six, spaces include an administration and library building, a multi-sports hall and learning community blocks.
The design reflects its natural surroundings and has been built to meet the Green Building Council’s 5-Star education standard.
The project was fast tracked to meet the 2015 deadline.
RLB was instrumental in implementing an alternate procurement route, allowing the program to be maintained, whilst achieving a contract sum within budget.
RLB in Otago provided full estimating, tendering and post-contract quantity surveying services.
