SOMERS RECYCLED WATER TREATMENT PLANT
This upgrade improves the quality of wastewater discharge to the ocean, while also providing a ‘Class A’ water supply to residents in the area.
The project minimises the environmental impact by upgrading the process with a new bioreactor, ultra-filtration, chemical dosing, ultraviolet treatment and reverse osmosis.
The use of reverse osmosis, as used by desalination plants, enables a higher-quality water output from the plant.
RLB provided cost management and quantity surveying services.
