SOUTH WEST RAIL LINK
This AU$2.1 billion NSW Government initiative is a major piece of public transport infrastructure for the Sydney metropolitan area's 'South West Growth Centre'.
It connects with the rest of the Sydney rail network at Glenfield, where services can continue north on the Main South line or east on the East Hills line.
A train stabling facility further enhances its capability.
The line consists of a 11. 4 kilometre track from Glenfield to Leppington. As well as two new stations at Edmondson Park and Leppington, and commuter car parking.
RLB’s full-service role included cost planning from inception to completion, value engineering throughout the design development, and preparation of pre-tender estimates, tender assessment services and cash flow preparation.
