The Melbourne Airport Northern Infill and Pier C Expansion project was driven by the need for quicker movement of large numbers of passengers and higher-level screening of baggage by CT scanning.
The design allows flexibility for future expansion and development while minimising the impact to operations.
The project includes additional international gate lounge capacity at Pier C and expansion of the outbound baggage hall and duty-free retail.
