This $85-million teaching and learning facility in the heart of James Cook University’s Townsville campus will promote the sciences, and encourage interest in science-based careers in the wider community, and foster interdisciplinary interactions.
This 12,000m2 purpose-built Education and Research space comprises an outreach centre with interactive displays, next-generation lecture theatres, high capacity computer labs and Technology Enabled Active Learning spaces, all linked to vibrant food outlets, in an energy-efficient design appropriate to the tropical environment.
