Enabling a visionary waterfront city



Lusail City is a 35 square kilometre, self-contained, waterfront city located 15km north of Doha.

As the largest single development to be undertaken in recent years, the project aims to establish a world-class city accommodating 200,000 residents, providing workspace for 165,000 individuals, and attracting 90,000 visitors. The city is spread over multiple districts consisting of two marinas, commercial and residential zones, two golf courses, an entertainment district, shopping malls, mosques, 36 schools, an underground metro, and medical centres.

RLB are providing cost management services for the development of Lusail City. Taking a pro-active approach and leveraging RLB’s extensive experience in managing large programmes of works, RLB are supporting the client in all commercial matters across diverse building typologies, from initial business case through to successful project completion.

RLB have supported the client in developing, assessing, and implementing robust commercial control at every stage, in a complex and time-challenging programme of works. The scope encompasses the provision of cost management services on developments such as iconic high-rise towers, waterfront residential developments, mixed-use boulevards, mixed-use island developments, and an array of civic and supporting buildings for the city.

Additionally, RLB has played a crucial role in providing Claims and Dispute Consultancy as well as advisory services to further support the development of Lusail City.
