Stage 1 of Brisbane Quarter at 300 George Street, which includes the W Hotel, is vying for the Award for Best Tourism & Leisure Development in the 2020 Property Council of Australia / Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation & Excellence Awards.

Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) provided commercial certainty led by Queensland Director Matt Long.

Brisbane Quarter is an innovative $1b multi-tower, mixed-use development being delivered by Shayher Group.

Stage 1 of the project includes W Brisbane, the first five-star luxury hotel to be delivered in Brisbane for more than twenty years, in addition to a shared podium, 7-level basement and high-end retail precinct.

‘This is a truly landmark project that will enhance our city and boost its status as an economic and cultural hub on the world stage,’ says RLB’s Managing Director in Queensland, David Stewart.

300 George Street is nominated by Multiplex, owned by Shayher Properties and designed by DBI and ZENX Architects.

RLB has partnered with the Property Council of Australia to present the Innovation & Excellence Awards program since its inception in 1982.

A NEW DATE is coming soon for the 2020 Gala Dinner.
