As part of the winning consortium, Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is working with Nexus to deliver the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC) and to support regional growth in Queensland.

RLB assisted the Nexus team on their recent bid for the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing (TSRC). This is a proposed road bypass route to the north of Toowoomba, about 41 kilometres in length.

Upon completion, the TSRC will connect the Gore Highway at Athol to the west, to the Warrego Highway near Helidon in the east, via Charlton.

Project benefits include

  • Reducing the number of trucks in Toowoomba city
  • Decreasing travel time
  • Relieving congestion
  • Improving driver safety
  • Supporting regional growth

‘We’re thrilled to be part of the Nexus team comprising Plenary, Acciona, Ferrovial, Cintra and Transfield, and to be providing specialist services to deliver this significant piece of infrastructure to the state with new roads, viaducts and tunnels,’ said NSW Managing Director, Matthew Harris.
