Q1 TOWER, SURFERS PARADISE
Upon completion in 2005, Q1 Tower was the world's tallest residential tower complex.
Located in Surfers Paradise on Queensland’s Gold Coast, the 80-storey tower has 527 apartments, more than 1,800 square metres of retail space, and observation decks on levels 79 and 80.
Designed by SDG & The Buchan Group, its form was inspired by the Sydney 2000 Olympic torch and the Sydney Opera House.
