Schumann Consult is set to become part of Rider Levett Bucknall, to create a new UK business stream for the global property and cost consultant.

The specialist Schumann Consult team works with many of the world’s key architects, providing architectural specification and design management services.

The company was set up in 2013 by Nick and Mark Schumann, who have more than 30 years’ experience working at senior director level in the property and construction sector.

RLB has over 3,600 staff operating from more than 120 countries across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Oceania.

Ann Bentley, Global Chair of RLB said, ‘Schumann Consult has a wealth of expertise and insight into the architectural community, and within the property and construction sector itself. Its invaluable high quality expertise both in the UK and international markets will enhance the portfolio of services that we offer to our client base, and contribute significantly to our growth strategy.’

Mark Schumann, Director of Schumann Consult added, ‘Schumann Consult has enjoyed considerable levels of growth over the last three years, and we are in a great position to boost this growth further with a pipeline of ready opportunities available to us.’

He continued, ‘Joining RLB will enable us to maximise this growth to its full potential and provide an even greater service proposition to RLB clients as well as our own.’
