After more than three decades with Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), long-time Director in South Australia Andrew Suttie will start a new career phase in 2022.

Mr Suttie, who has been a Director of RLB in Adelaide since 2002, will step back from his role to take up a new position as Senior Consultant with Australia’s largest quantity surveying firm.

“Andrew is an inspirational and energetic leader who has helped countless RLB clients achieve best value outcomes through his trusted strategic and technical advice,” says RLB Oceania Chairman, Peter Tulla.

“Andrew has been deeply involved in many game-changing, challenging and complex projects that have transformed Adelaide. He has always encouraged and inspired high-performance teams and has made a large contribution to both RLB and the property industry,” adds John Drillis, Managing Director.

Mr Suttie joined RLB in Adelaide in 1989, bringing with him expertise gained in the United Kingdom. Among Mr Suttie’s projects are the $2 billion new Royal Adelaide Hospital and the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), the first building in Adelaide’s health and bio-medical precinct. He has built a strong reputation for his expertise in the education sector, delivering cost management services on one of Australia’s first vertical high schools, Adelaide Botanic High School, the University of South Australia Cancer Research Institute, and Flinders University’s College of Science and Engineering and Plaza and Student Hub.

Andrew added, “It has been a wonderful, rewarding journey with a great bunch of people.”

“On behalf of RLB’s directors, I would like to thank Andrew for his contribution in South Australia and look forward to his continued involvement in his new role as Senior Consultant,” Mr Drillis concludes.
