Congratulations to 73 Miller Street in New South Wales, Brookfield Place Sydney in New South Wales, SEEK HQ in Victoria and The Grosvenor in New South Wales who are in the running for the Herron Todd White Award for Best Office Development.

73 Miller Street leads by example. Originally constructed in 1990, 73 Miller St has transformed into a highly efficient and design focused building to rival and outperform new development. The built and natural environment is celebrated throughout the use of recycled concrete, green walls, natural light and unobstructed harbour views.

Rider Levett Bucknall Managing Director Stephen Mee said that every member of the project team was focused on fulfilling client aspirations.

This innovative and visionary upgrade has repositioned a strategic asset – and the high tenancy commitments that followed are testimony to that vision.

BPS is a transformational mixed-use development combining heritage preservation with a rejuvenated transport hub and delivering next-generation commercial and retail space. An innovative solution to a challenging transport amalgam, it was the first real estate Unsolicited Proposal approved by NSW Government and sets a new benchmark for transport-oriented developments.

Situated in Melbourne’s burgeoning Tech Hub in Cremorne, the design of SEEK’s new international headquarters places the interests, character and identity of its workforce at its core. Referencing the rich, industrial heritage of local makers and manufacturers, the contemporary building sits comfortably within the existing urban and historical context.

With a grand sense of scale, flooded with natural light and modern design touches, The Grosvenor, offers opportunity for chance-encounters, intimate breakouts, and shared events. The refurbishment preserved Grosvenor Place’s history while also constructing a modern, cutting-edge, collaborative workspace with community at its centre.

In collaboration with RLB since 1982, the prestigious awards have promoted excellence in design and innovation in the built environment. From 157 eligible finalists, the winners were selected by a high calibre judging panel made up of 14 property specialists and chaired by Adrian Harrington.

Winners will be announced at the 2023 Property Council of Australia / Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation and Excellence Awards, to be held at the ICC Sydney on Wednesday 23 August 2023.
