Success in quantity surveying demands a strong work ethic, innovative thinking and an unwavering commitment to excellence. If you have those attributes then a rich, rewarding career awaits.

Rowena Maggacis, Associate, Brisbane

After completing high school in Queensland’s Darling Downs, Rowena Maggacis relocated to Brisbane to pursue a Bachelor of Urban Development (Quantity Surveying) at the Queensland University of Technology.

Eager to gain practical experience, she applied for a cadetship with RLB. This gave her valuable real-world exposure to projects across various sectors and comprehensive in-house training for the duration of her degree.

Upon graduating with Honours in 2016, Rowena joined RLB to sharpen her skillset and knowledge. Within five years, Rowena had distinguished herself with an impressive array of projects, including Ipswich City Heart, Queens Wharf, 300 George Street and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.

In 2021, Rowena embraced a new chapter with the arrival of her first child. Following six months of maternity leave, she seamlessly transitioned back into her executive role and was promoted to Associate in 2023. After welcoming her second child in July 2023, Rowena has recently returned to her role in RLB’s Brisbane office. With dedication, fresh perspectives and an eye for detail, Rowena is working across a diversity of complex projects and helping RLB clients bring imagination to life.
