Among South Australia’s finalists for the 2020 Property Council of Australia / Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation & Excellence Awards, is the Adelaide Festival Centre Internal Works Upgrade – the first major refurbishment of the state’s principal performing arts venue since 1973.

The project has been shortlisted in two award categories – Best Heritage Development and Best Tourism & Leisure Development.

‘RLB was proud to work on this spectacular project, that cleverly combines flexibility and functionality,’ says RLB’s Managing Director in South Australia John Drillis.

The upgrade of South Australia’s principal performing arts venue, the Adelaide Festival Centre (AFC), is the first major refurbishment since opening in 1973.

Reimagined by HASSELL Architects and Schiavello Construction (SA), the AFC Internal Upgrade fosters a welcoming sense of flexibility and functionality to accommodate over one million patrons annually.

RLB has partnered with the Property Council of Australia to present the Innovation & Excellence Awards program since its inception in 1982.

A NEW DATE is coming soon for the 2020 Gala Dinner.
