Managing Director Steve Gracey is thrilled to announce exciting recent promotions marking the expansion of RLB in Auckland’s strong senior leadership team. 

RLB’s senior leadership team continues to grow and develop, and we are immensely proud to provide access to such a wide range of excellence and experience for our valued clients,’ said Steve.

Josh Tattley (Director)

Josh Tattley has been promoted to Director and becomes a shareholder in Auckland. Josh has amassed 11 years of experience in a range of sectors since joining RLB after being awarded an RLB Scholarship as an undergraduate in 2011. Josh was also awarded the RLB (Oceania) Employee Excellence Awards Overall Winner in 2017.

Josh has delivered a number of award-winning projects in the commercial, residential and industrial sector for a range of key commercial clients. He has a proven track record in understanding commercial feasibilities and clients’ risk appetite. He continues to establish strong, long-term client relationships, successfully delivering the most complex of multi-staged projects.

Technical Directors

RLB is also proud to mark four recent promotions in the last 12 months to Technical Director, for Annabelle Wells, Olin Reed, Neil Taylor, and Bruce Jamieson.

Formerly Associate Directors, they have nearly 80 years’ experience at RLB between them, and over 100 years in the QS industry. They bring specialist expertise, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience across a range of sectors to their roles as Technical Directors.

Annabelle Wells leads the firm’s specialist fitout team, and has considerable experience in the New Zealand construction industry, particularly in commercial, education and aviation projects. Highly valued by clients and colleagues alike, Annabelle has exceptional communication skills, a passion for construction, and intricate knowledge of all stages of construction project delivery from inception to completion.

Olin Reed is RLB in Auckland’s specialist services QS and leads the in-house building services team. He is a passionate leader in technology, BIM training, and research and development company-wide. Olin has provided specialist estimating services on most of New Zealand’s iconic construction projects delivered by RLB in the last two decades.

Neil Taylor leads a dedicated and experienced team of healthcare surveyors, and is highly regarded by his repeat long-term clients in the healthcare sector. Neil has been instrumental on some of New Zealand’s most complex healthcare projects, leading the cost control of essential facilities with multiple stakeholders from early stages of design through to successful completion.

Bruce Jamieson is heavily involved in our infrastructure team, and has an excellent track record from considerable experience with infrastructure projects for various government bodies. His knowledge of infrastructure construction, estimation and procurement provides clients with the information they need to proceed with confidence. Bruce has significant expertise in civic projects and transport infrastructure, particularly rail and roading.

Associate Directors

Esther Wong and Bradley Coley have been promoted to Associate Director.

Esther Wong was formerly a QS for consultants and contractors internationally before joining RLB Auckland in early 2016. Esther has become an excellent mentor and has developed strong links with the Chinese Property industry in Auckland. Her in-depth understanding of multiple construction disciplines, extensive experience, talent, and positive approach to client and consultant relationships make her an asset to every project.

Bradley Coley joined RLB in 2014 as an RLB scholarship recipient after 8 years on the tools as a carpenter. He was awarded the prestigious New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors HH Bunckenburg Memorial Trust Scholar Award when he graduated. Bradley has developed significant experience, particularly in the retail, commercial and infrastructure sectors. He is a diligent, detail-focused and sought-after addition on complex projects.
