One Market Lane Wellington has been recognised by winning the Arrow International Multi-Unit Residential Merit Property Award, at this year’s Property Council of New Zealand / Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards.

This is one of 14 RLB projects to be recognised on the evening, having provided cost management and quantity surveying services on the project. The RLB project team was led by Wellington Director, Tony Sutherland.

Mr Sutherland commented, ‘One Market Lane is a premium residential building with beautiful views of the Wellington waterfront, with easy access for a walk or run and very close to Wellington’s restaurants, bars and arts venues.’

He added, ‘The building is a great addition to the capital’s skyline, reflects excellent design features with plenty of natural light, and expansive water and city views. A very worthy award winner.’

Developed by Cable Street Redevelopment LP, One Market Lane is a purpose-built premium residential building in the heart of Wellington’s historic Taranaki Wharf Precinct. Built on a unique island site, which is an important gateway to the waterfront, the development includes 42 high-specification apartments on its upper floors, with commercial spaces and amenity at lower levels.

The Property Council New Zealand / Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards celebrate innovation and leading practice within New Zealand’s property development and investment industries.

RLB has partnered with the Property Council New Zealand to present the awards program for more than 18 years.

The 2016 winners were announced on 17 June at a gala dinner at Vector Arena in Auckland, attended by over 1,500 people.
