RLB in NSW has announced the promotion of Scott Walker to Associate.

Currently an executive heading up RLB’s NSW fitout team, Scott brings deep experience in delivering innovative and sustainable workspace solutions to the role, which he will assume in April 2021.

Scott is a leading authority of independent cost advice throughout design development to project completion and beyond.

RLB’s NSW Managing Director Stephen Mee said Scott’s leadership and communication skills, honed during 14 years of experience in the UK and Australia, have contributed to the success of landmark projects for blue chip clients.

‘Scott’s inclusion in a project team equates to better results throughout the project lifespan,’ Stephen said.

Among Scott’s projects are the Macquarie Bank’s fitout in Martin Place, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Barangaroo Towers, Commonwealth Bank of Australia Darling Quarter and IKEA Tempe.

‘I am very excited by Scott’s appointment as Associate and I believe his expertise, proven leadership ability and participatory approach will bring more inspiring fitouts to life,’ Stephen said.

Scott said he was thrilled to take up the position of Associate.

‘COVID-19 has given rise to a time of profound change and an evolution in the way fitouts need to function. As new trends emerge, RLB can play a key role in finding solutions to many of the challenges we face, and to deliver superior outcomes for our clients,’ Scott said.

RLB in Sydney also welcomes the appointment of Patrick Bates and Tom Mullins as senior surveyors and Alex Nourian as a senior surveyor in the firm’s infrastructure department. The appointment of six new project surveyors will also expand the NSW team’s skills at a time of growth.
