The directors of Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) in Auckland are pleased to announce the appointment of two new associates to our senior management team.

Josh Tattley – Associate Director, Auckland

Since joining RLB in 2011, Josh has developed an excellent knowledge of the Auckland construction market to deliver great project outcomes. Josh has the rare combination of technical skill and commercial acumen which makes him a trusted advisor to key clients including Precinct Properties, Kiwi Property, the University of Auckland and Auckland International Airport.

His strengths cover all aspects of quantity surveying, particularly in the pre-construction estimation and procurement phase within construction sectors including commercial, industrial, education, residential and hotels.

Setting accurate budgets, giving sound commercial advice, implementing rigorous financial control processes and implementing successful negotiation techniques are Josh’s bread and butter. He has an eye for detail and is committed to delivering all projects on budget.

Josh is a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors.

Andrew Heaps – Associate Director, Hamilton

Joining RLB in Auckland in 2011 through our scholarship program, Andrew has spent 18 months working on several intricate projects in the UK and Europe while based in our London office. Andrew relocated to Hamilton in 2017 where he manages a small team of local quantity surveyors in the Waikato, earning him an impeccable track record of achieving excellent value for his clients.

He delivers solid estimating, sound procurement advice and robust financial control to key clients including Tainui Group Holdings, the University of Waikato, Stride Property, Waipa District Council, Waikato Regional Airport and New Plymouth Airport.

Andrew has worked on a diverse range of projects in a variety of sectors, bringing particular skill in the pre-construction phase, with cost planning and strategic advice within a variety of construction sectors, including education, public sector works, retail, commercial, airports, custodial and health.

Andrew is a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
