Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) in Singapore celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year – our Golden Jubilee!

We are truly grateful for your support over these many decades and for the opportunity to be involved in delivering each of your very special projects.

Our long history has always had Service Excellence as its core value. This can only be delivered by having the best people, who understand and are committed to, delivering to high expectations. It therefore gives us great pleasure to announce the appointment of two new Directors on 1 April 2022 to our organization – Ms Lai Sun Mei, in our Cost Consultancy business and Mr William Lim, in our Project Management business.

Sun Mei has over 17 years of experience in the QS profession. She is a Member of the RICS (MRICS) and SISV (MSISV), a SISV Accredited Professional Quantity Surveyor (APQS) and a Member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (MSIArb).

Sun Mei was our Lead QS for the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel. She has extensive residential, institutional, hospitality and high-end fit-out project experience, including the complete refurbishment of the Raffles Hotel, Changi Airport Terminal 2 Expansion, and most recently, the new Dyson headquarters at St James Power Station.

On the Project Management side, William is a seasoned industry veteran, with over 20 years of Project and Construction Management experience. Prior to joining RLBC, William was an Executive Director with Arcadis leading the Programme and Project Management Team.

He has a MSc in PM, is a Council Member of Society of Project Managers, an Accredited Professional Project Director (PPD), and a Member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (MSIArb). His various project typologies include integrated resorts, sports hubs, infrastructure, commercial, healthcare, institutional and community buildings. Notable projects include the Our Tampines Hub, the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, the Singapore Institute of Technology, the National Skin Centre, Mandai Park Development and the LASALLE College of the Arts Extension.

We are blessed to have two talented and experienced individuals as part of our leadership and journey into the future. It heralds a new season of growth and renewal to ensure that we continue to provide service excellence on all our projects. Please join us in congratulating Sun Mei and William on their promotion and new roles!
