Having worked in the third sector in her neighbourhood in east Manchester, Gretta started her construction career with Manchester City Council as part of the team leading transformation across a 1,200-hectare area stretching east from the City Centre. She has continued to seek opportunities to deliver projects that maximise impact for communities and has supported innovative approaches to placemaking and re-development. This has included supporting Higher Education clients to develop facilities that help them deliver on their potential to act as anchor institutions, significantly impacting the places within which they are located. Gretta is Head of Places and Communities at RLB UK, and leads its project management team in the North West and Northern Ireland.
