Redevelopment of the Old Technology Campus

TECHNOLOGY CAMPUS

Leeds Technology College Campus sits in a prime location on the corner of Cookridge Street and Woodhouse Lane, to the North of Leeds City Centre.

Leeds Technology 20 storey student accommodation tower comprises a 514 bed scheme which includes a mixture of clusters and studio rooms across three blocks, communal spaces, a gym, yoga studio, cinema room, bike store, roof terrace, management office and potential events space, and a retail unit on the Woodhouse Lane elevation for lease. Improvements are also being made to the public realm.

As part of our role, RLB supported the client through the funding negotiations for the new blocks with their funding partner, their team of advisors and the legal teams, in addition to providing traditional project management and quantity surveying services.

RLB provided project management and quantity surveying services on the demolition of the existing campus and our role extends further into the construction phase of the new residential blocks, with a planned completion date set for Summer 2024.
