Watch our Building a Greener Britain programme:

At RLB UK we believe that sustainability can no longer be an add on. It must be an integral part of the conversation if we want to achieve net zero carbon ambitions across the construction industry.

On Built Environment Day, at COP26 RLB leads in the Building a Greener Britain programme. During the opening remarks of the CO2nstructZero COP26 Session, the programme explores how the construction industry is prioritising climate change by improving standards and championing innovation in process and thinking, and features key industry interviews and news-style reports along with sponsored editorial profiles.

Andrew Reynolds, Chief Executive, comments, “Building a Greener Britain highlights the environmental impacts of the construction industry and therefore the immense opportunity available to us, to work together to create a more sustainable built environment. RLB is supporting clients to adopt a change in mindset and take a more holistic approach to sustainability and in the programme we showcase how we are working with University Hospitals of Leicester to support them on their sustainability journey as they reconfigure their estate. Only through early engagement, collaborative discussion, the understanding of wider value and the introduction of innovative skillsets, will the industry begin to deliver better outcomes.”

Programme created together with Construction Leadership Council and ITN Productions Industry News.

RLB UK is a signatory of Amazons’ Climate Pledge, recipient of the Ecovadis Silver Medal 2021 and is committed to achieving its own net zero carbon position by 2025.
