Underscoring the continued growth and success of RLB Digital, the team has announced the appointment this week of digital construction champion and Information & Data Strategist, Emma Hooper.

Most recently at BuildData Group, where she headed up the group’s Research Institute, Emma joins the team as Head of Information Management Strategy and is the second senior appointment for the firm this year.

Emma’s role will be intrinsic to RLB Digital’s growth, which has seen the team double its digital construction headcount through targeted recruitment and establishing the RLB Digital Construction Academy Programme. Her experience spans all aspects of information management within the built environment ranging from the strategic down to a detailed technical level and combining information management activities with openBIM workflows. She is highly active in many industry groups, standards development and is Vice Chair of buildingSMART UK.

Complementing Emma’s appointment, RLB Digital will also see a further two team members joining in mid-May. Surabhi Mohan Prasad joins the development team as a Power Platform Developer, expanding RLB Digital’s development capabilities and Debbie Dymott will support the team from a business development perspective.

Head of RLB Digital, Michelle Zompi, comments,

“RLB Digital continues to go from strength-to-strength, helping clients on their digital transformation journey and optimising valuable insights via data collation throughout the life cycle of services, projects, and assets. Emma’s appointment and further team growth demonstrate RLB Digital’s commitment to digitising our industry, as well as promoting diversity within the tech workplace and showcasing the incredible skills and expertise that the RLB Digital team can provide to our clients.”

Emma continues,

“Joining RLB Digital is a great privilege and I’m excited by where we can go. It’s time to take information management to the next level by emphasising the importance of data and making it easier for everyone involved, with a strong focus on treating information as a valuable asset. RLB as a client adviser was instrumental in helping to establish the first Integrated Project Insurance (IPI) project that I was fortunate to work on – which has significantly influenced my thinking and career. Joining RLB Digital feels like the perfect match.”
