Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) celebrated its first year of the opening of its office in Eagle Star House in Upper Queen Street this week by announcing an amazing 30% above target in revenue.

The independent construction management consultancy that started its business with just one employee in Northern Ireland has now extended its workforce tenfold and boasts amongst its client list Queen’s University Belfast, Health and Social Care Northern Ireland, Camphill Community Glencraig and national clients including Sodexo, Tesco and TK Maxx.

Carolyn Brady, Associate at RLB Belfast comments,

“We believe the breadth of what we offer – which includes services ranging from quantity and building surveying, health and safety advisory, project and programme management as well as sustainability and social value consultancy specific to the construction industry – has supported our success across the last 12 months. Having local knowledge and expertise within the Northern Irish market backed by national and global best practice has also been one of the key drivers in our growth.”

“This year trading has exceeded our expectations, especially in what has been a tough commercial year with the aftereffects of the pandemic, the impact of the UK leaving the European Union and the global turbulence that is affecting all markets,” comments Jason Brownlee, Partner at RLB Belfast. “We are looking forward to expanding this presence by supporting more local clients as well as those who operate out of Northern Ireland with built environment solutions.”

RLB Managing Partner for the North West and Northern Ireland, Steve Gillingham, continued, “When RLB decided to establish an office in Belfast we set ambitious targets and never expected to exceed them. It’s a testament to the commitment of our fantastic local team, the support of existing clients who wanted us there, and the new clients across multiple sectors who have put their trust in our team.  We could not be happier”

RLB Belfast is located at 1st Floor, Eagle Star House, 5-7 Upper Queen St, Belfast BT1 6FB.
