RLB Digital has strengthened its team by welcoming Rob Jackson as its Head of Information Management Services.

Rob, who led his previous business to win the Digital Consultancy of the Year at the Digital Construction awards, is a fully qualified UK Architect and has over 25 years of experience working in the design and management of information within the built environment. His client experience includes working with both public and private clients to develop information requirements as well as working with consultants, contractors and developers in the delivery of information.

Rob’s role will support RLB clients to specify their information requirements, assist with procuring the right teams to deliver those requirements, work with teams to deliver the required information and carry out assurances to make information is fully compliant with the requirements. He will complement the existing RLB Digital team by offering digital enabling solutions to clients.

Michelle Zompi, Head of RLB Digital, says:

“Our ambition for RLB Digital is to become the Digital Construction advisor of choice for our clients and their world-leading construction and built environment projects. To achieve this, we want RLB Digital to be the practice of choice for the very best Digital Construction talent.

We have known of Rob, his passion for Digitalising Construction, his industry presence and the achievements of his team for some time. When looking to strategically grow the range of services RLB Digital can offer our clients, it is apparent that our clients are looking for support, advice and guidance on the topics of Information Management, BIM, ISO19650 and IFC.

In discussion with Rob, we have quickly realised that our drivers, mindsets and approaches are closely aligned and so having Rob join RLB Digital is a major milestone that will facilitate further growth in our team, our services and the value we can offer our clients.”

Rob Jackson comments,

“It was evident that RLB Digital is already offering exciting digital solutions to clients. Most of these services are different, but fully aligned with what I have been doing previously and this means there is an exciting opportunity to take Information Management to the next level. It was also important for me to join a software agnostic organisation as this aligned with my own personal values of using open standards which is something that has been a passion of mine for some years. Being software agnostic allows us to offer unbiased consultancy to our clients and focus on an information first approach, something that RLB being an independent consultancy also undertakes on a day-to-day basis across their service offering.”
