The Manchester office of Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is preparing to move to its new prime city-centre location, 1 King Street. RLB has taken out a 10-year lease at the city centre location having outgrown its current office space at Exchange Quay, Salford.

Fit-out of is now underway by Didsbury-based specialist contractor, Flexible Business Interiors (FBI), on the 9,300 square foot turn-key project ready for the company’s move on March 23rd.

Dean Sheehy, Director of RLB in Manchester, commented: “We are really excited about our move into King Street. This is a fantastic step for our growing office and demonstrates our commitment to Manchester. This move places RLB right at the heart of this vibrant and dynamic City.  We are delighted the fit-out is being undertaken by FBI as we have worked with the team on a number of client projects. The design of our new office reflects its superb location and heritage, as well as  our global brand. This is very much a Manchester project with the design, the management and the construction all carried out by Manchester companies supporting the local economy.

I am extremely proud that our Manchester team has quadrupled in size in just over two years. This makes us the largest independent provider of Project & Programme Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Health & Safety and Advisory services in Manchester. We are working on some inspiring projects for both public and private clients and I am sure our move in March will be the start of an exciting new chapter.”
