RLB has gone one step beyond best practice by taking important steps to raise the bar in its fire service offering, ahead of an interim report from the Competency Steering Group (CSG), a sub group of the Industry Response Group that was set up to coordinate action and advice to building owners.

The report, that aims to increase standards of fire safety in the built environment, is currently out for consultation, however, RLB took the view to begin the process of raising the bar while waiting for the official verdict and recommendations.  Having become NSI accredited, along with successfully becoming BAFE205 registered, RLB has also invested heavily in its team to become experts in this field with team members achieving IFE qualifications along with other key fire safety qualifications.

Steve Reynolds, Partner at RLB stated, “RLB has taken the initiative and led from the front. The decision to raise the bar started over 12 months ago where it was clear improvements and expertise in fire safety services would be essential in a post Grenfell world, so as to provide the best technical advice to our clients in this fundamental area.”
