RLB’s Craig Badger had been selected to join a new Future Leaders’ Group set up by the CBI Construction Council. The group has been put together to provide a view from within the industry and will develop recommendations focussed on improving collaboration and digitisation within the construction sector. This will complement existing work, such as Construction 2025.

Craig Badger, a quantity surveyor, is also part of RLB’s own Futures Board which harnesses the ideas and initiatives of staff members to promote change within the firm. This role was key in helping Craig to be selected for the new CBI Construction Council group, and he will act as a conduit for the work carried out to come back into RLB.

Craig joins a cohort of 18 rising stars under the age of 35 drawn from companies spanning the supply chain, from major construction firms to small and medium sized businesses. The group represents a wide spectrum of jobs from across the construction industry, including construction products, contractors and services.

The Future Leaders’ Group, is expected to report to the CBI’s Construction Council, a 35-strong forum of industry leaders, in November this year.
