RLB | Schumann provided core specification consultancy services, including the production and delivery of architectural specifications on the London City Airport Project, which is part of the City Airport Development Programme.
The scheme is aimed at providing additional infrastructure and facilities to serve circa 6.5 million passengers a year by 2024. This multifaceted £480m project includes the creation of the UK’s first digital air traffic control tower, 8 new aircraft stands, new piers, a parallel taxiway and a major extension of the existing terminal.
