UK DATA CENTRE DEVELOPER
Four data centres in the UK delivered on time and to budget.
The award-winning campus comprises 24,000m2 IT space and provides 60MW across all four buildings.
The project includes the construction of three sub-stations, associated high voltage interconnection works, client fibre installation and end-user capacity upgrades.
RLB provided cost management, project management and employer’s agent services and collaborated with the on-site team, the wider design and management support functions to deliver a state-of-the-art data centre engineered at the highest quality.
The ethos of collaboration meant that despite several major obstacles like challenging local planning requirements and product recalls mid-construction, the team remained agile and flexible enough to make the necessary changes required for the client.
The project team planned highly complex testing and replacement of devices that needed to be carried out whilst avoiding delays to the delivery date.
