Rider Levett Bucknall UK (RLB UK) has been officially recognised for the 17th consecutive year by the Top Employers Institute as a Top Employer UK 2023.

Top Employers Institute is the global authority on recognising excellence in people practices. The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the results of a HR Best Practices Survey, which covers 6 HR areas consisting of 20 topics including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Wellbeing and more.

“Exceptional times bring out the best in people and organisations. And we have witnessed this in our Top Employers Certification Programme this year: exceptional performance from the certified Top Employers 2023. These employers have always shown that they care for the development and well-being of their people. By doing so, they collectively enrich the world of work. We are proud to announce and celebrate this year’s group of leading people-oriented employers: the Top Employers 2023.”

Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink

At RLB, our ambition is to ensure we have a ‘people-first’ mindset so that our employees can be themselves, feel valued for their contribution and be challenged and supported to reach their full potential.

We have been working hard to make improvements to our policies, practices and systems to enable everyone to fulfil their potential and feel supported at every stage of their career, championing our one RLB culture, ensuring fairness and consistency, and opportunity for all in everything we do.

We have continued to simplify and give you transparency and access to everything you need to support your career; enhancing how we support your development by providing skills and behaviours frameworks for all roles, clear guidelines around the promotion process and the Learning Hub full of resources. We also enjoyed working with our communities, and launched the Women’s Group, the Racial, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage Survey and the RLB Pride Community.

Sarah Draper, Head of People & Culture for RLB UK comments:

“As a result of all of our initiatives, we are delighted to have demonstrated significant improvement against 2022 results for our focus on diversity & inclusion, the work environment, developing employee performance and our learning offering.

Our consistent recognition as a Top Employer highlights that we are always looking for ways to improve and make every day better for those who work at RLB and I would like to thank you all for your contribution.
